Ozzy possibly a Lab X Lurcher fostered by Four Paws Animal Rescue (South Wales)
Ozzy's thread can be found here http://forum.fourpawsanimalrescue.org.uk/index.php?topic=4918.0
Breed: cross-breed - Possible Lab x Lurcher
Age: Approx 5/6mths
Child friendly: Yes 7 years + Only because of size and bounciness
Dog friendly: yes
Cat Friendly: TBC
House trained: No - but we are working on it
His Fosterer says - Ozzy is super cute and has a lovely soft and shiny jet black coat, and has definatly not grown into his legs yet Though Ozzy has been here a few days now he's still very unsure of everything but his personality has started to come out. He's learning how to play with the other dogs, he follows the dogs outside to toilet (but still has the odd accident in the house), he shares his toys and loves the company of the other dogs. He's starting to trust us humans too and will occasionally try to get up on your lap for a cuddle, he likes it when you hold his head and stroke his nose and will sit there for ages whilst you do this, he has the most adorable sad eyes. Ozzy is learning very quickly that he shouldnt jump up when someone comes in the room and that our food is not his and once told no he will move away. He doesnt like being left alone in a room but will stay at home very quietly when left with the other dogs so we think he would benefit being rehomed with an older dog who can teach him how he should act, everything he has learned in the last few days he has learned from the other dogs here.
Ozzy is -
good with children but very bouncy.
Not quite housetrained but is getting there.
very unsure and will benefit being rehomed with an older trained dog.
Travels well in the car with no sickness but will cry at first.
Loves his food but does not guard it.
Will need a home with lots of patience and love.
Ozzy is a very timid lad and will run from the dogs if they shout at him and will cry even if we just move him away with our hand. Can you give him the forever home he deserves where he can learn to trust you.
He can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet him.
