Other Information

Please meet the incredibly lovely Belle. Belle came into the care of Friends of the Animals RCT as
her family weren’t able to give her the time and attention a young dog needs. She is a cross of two
of the most family friendly, loving breeds. She is a very sociable girl and is at her happiest when
she is playing with other dogs or being made a fuss of by people. She has a wonderfully sweet
temperament and has a very waggy tail.

Belle has lots of energy and will need an active home who can give her plenty of walks and
stimulation, in return she will reward you with her sweet nature and endless loyalty.

Belle will require puppy training classes to help develop her basic skills such as walking nicely on
a lead and general good doggy manners. Her toilet training is progressing but she is still having
accidents which he adopters will need to work on.

Belles unsettled life has made her a little bit shy around new people but she comes around very
quickly. Being just a pup Belle is going through the chewing phase where she will steal anything she
can and have a good nibble so her adopters will need to be laid back about the occasional chewed
shoe or chair leg! Her chewing does get worse when she is anxious and when left alone she can be
destructive, which is why we would prefer her to be homed with a resident dog as it reassures her.
Belle doesn’t like the crate so her adopter would need a comfortable, secure area in the home for
Belle when she is left.

Belle is a gentle girl and loves children, she is sweet with other dogs and happily shares a food bowl
with her foster family’s resident dog. Belle will chase small furries so won't be homed with cats.

Belle is looking for an energetic, loving family who will give her all of the fuss and attention she
deserves. As Belle is just a pup her adopters should be at home most of the time and be committed
to her training.

Belle is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Prospective adopters would be expected to travel
to meet her in her foster home in South wales.
