Mia 7yr old in kennels for 4yrs

Mia was taken in by a rescue as a stray, been in kennels for 4 years, she is approx 7 years old now, in Shropshire area.

[color:4e9e=#090]Mia is a german Shepard cross, approx 7 years old, has been in kennels for four years, desperately needs a loving forever home, who can see her potential and can work with Mia.

Mia is a beautiful very loving, friendly, lively girl.
She loves her food so is very trainable.
Loves playing with her toys, and water, gentle play is needed for Mia as she has some medical problems, please see below.

*neutered & vaccinated
*Stomach flipped/turned, not a bloat though.
*Spleen removed
*pulled back discs.
*gentle play is needed.

[color:4e9e=#090]Mia can have some guarding issues/protective possibly when out if a man approaches, as she did go into a home for a very short while, then was returned.
She has been in the house at this specific rescue occasionally, probably to give her a little break from kennels, and she is wary of some strange men, she will bark at them, and then is ok.
Mia is fine with men she knows but not with strangers.
She can be rehomed with older teenagers but not young children.

Mia is a gorgeous 4 year old German Shepherd cross. She is very loving and a very lively girl. She is looking for a home where there is no other dog or cat. A life with a single lady would be ideal.

Insight: Mia is another dog who tries to talk to you and tell you her troubles. She loves her food and also playing – but when the time is right. For instance, just before breakfast she will play but when she thinks you’ve played enough and she wants her food, she’ll stand in her pen and bark at you, but then afterwards she’ll happily play forever. She is getting much better at giving the toys back to you so you can throw them again. She really enjoys her walks but will always rush back when home is in sight.

Mia is still looking for her new home, I have spoken to the rescue and with the right patient and exsperienced new owner she will improve.
