Pebbles - 3 yr old Beautiful St Bernard fostered by Four Paws Animal Rescue (South Wales)
Pebbles
Breed - St Bernard
Age - 3 years (but acts like a 1 year old)
Dog Friendly - Yes
Cat Friendly - No, Pebbles will not be homed with cats
People Friendly - Yes - very
Child Friendly - Yes
House Trained - Yes.
Spayed - Yes
Travel - Loves all travel - very good in the car, loves the wind in her face
Food - Likes to graze throughout the day - will eat anything put before her
Microchipped - Yes
Pebbles coat is so soft, glossy and sleek - I'd happily sleep on it. Pebbles has really settled in now and has made herself very comfortable in our home. She is wonderful in the house - happy to sit and relax, loves greeting people and was so gentle with our friends 2 year old girl (who couldn't help but snuggle into her). She is content to be left for short periods of time, but really loves to be at the heart of the family
On walks she is now off lead most of the time (which is nice as she still pulls on lead) - she is happy to wounder behind us and loves meeting other dogs, she is always friendly when doing so, but some dogs find her overwhelming (probably the fact that her head is bigger then their body!). She loves water and does a great job of finding every puddle and pool when out walking for a big drink and paddle. Surprisingly, given her love of dirty pools Pebbles is quite easy to keep clean since her grooming, all you need is quick towling. The length of Pebbles walks have been slowly increased over the past few weeks so she is now doing 40-60mins a day and this seems to be about right for her.

She is a real treasure and will make a great companion for a single, couple, or family household, with or without dogs. Pebbles can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet her. Please put in an application in the first instance if you are interested. Approved applications will be home checked. Details of our adoption procedures and adoption application form are here
