Not recieving email notifications

I've had rafa set up to send me an email every time I get a PM or everytime a thread is updated that I have posted on.

Just before Christmas I clicked teh button to stop watching a thread that was done but not yet archieved.

I'm not sure of that last bit is relevant or not but since just before Christmas I have not been getting even 1/2 of the emails from Rafa as I should.

I have checked my PC's spam filter and my ISP's spam filter. I've checked that my dogmother emails are all getting forwarded to my sky address. I've checked my rafa settings and they are still correct. Julie has double checked them for me too.

Has anyone got any other suggestions for what I can do to get 100% notifications again please?

And if anyone thinks I have ignored them - I haven't I just may not have had a notification

I think it's just gemlins as all the settings are correct,,,,

I've sent you a pm and also an email. Have you received any notifications from either?

The pm was sent at 19:01, the email at 19:04.

I got a PM but no emails - either direct or because of the PM, or because this thread was updated.

I also seem to be having problems ... no private message email or thread update email today ... previously seemed ok.

Just got two now but very late in relation to one pm that came through about an hour ago.

I get the odd one, but not as many as I should. Only some PM email notifications and only some topic update notifications
I am spending far too much time looking for new posts when I should be doing my invoicing! Don't tell Andy

right, I went into my profile and looked at what threads i am watching. Deleted loads that were closed and locked. Also changed setting to NOT get emails. Logged out. Logged back in, and changed it back to yes for emails and notifications. Still only getting some and not all notifications.
Any reply from teh forumation folks Julie?

The pm is still unopened but i have now contacted another member of staff at forumotion

Did you check your spam folder of your email account? Also are you using hotmail, gmail yahoo or anything else?

I use microsft outlook to view and acces my sky.com email account. My emails to diane@thedogmother.co.uk is on autoforward to the sky address. both spam filters are free from forumation email notifications

I had a notification of 1 topic update but none of teh 2 pm's I've just found. Not yet checked how many topic updates I didn't get an update for.

Just checked. got 1 notification out of 7

I have checked spam filters and use BT and outlook express. All other emails seem to arrive with me satisfactorily.

If you mean the BT spam folder on my BT Yahoo webpage ... yes I have checked that ... there are other stuff in there that shouldn't be there but not RAFA ones.

checked the spam folders (I have 2?) on outlook and both are clear. Like Mole this started some time over the Xmas period and not before
I assume outlook is what is meant by "browser" in this instance?

I think what he meant was that you should access your email account through the webmail interface and check the ISP spam folder. Outlook only connects to your Inbox, if your ISP's filters have marked a message as spam it won't reach your Inbox but will be diverted to a spam folder in your mailbox.

ah gobbledy gook Call em what you like. I checked 'em. There aint no rafa emails in 'em. Filters folder servers browsers ISP's. I bin in evryfink an dey is empty Well empty of rafa stuff anyway. Lots of pharmacutical offers

Fingers crossed. I only had 1 notification email today. Should have had at least 5 that I know of

Ross is understanding me correctly.
I don't mean access mails via outlook.

Examples of webbrowsers via which you should access your mails: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome.

As explained already. I have gone through internet explorer to access the sky email account online and there are no emails stuck in any folder at all anywhere. I have checked teh dogmothr email account through internmet explorer and the same is true. It is not that the email servers are not delivering them it is that forumation is not sending them.

I've used all the right words to explain things well enough to make progress now

Should have had 7 email notifications since last logged on - recieved none. None in any email account, through any software package in any format at all. None being sent.
