Rascal - 9 week old JRT - Needs active home
Rascal is a stunning 9 week old Jack Russell Terrier pup. He came into us as he had swallowed a child's dummy and his owner's could not afford the surgery. Rascal is recovering well in a foster home in Kent.
He is a sweet, lively boy in need of an active home that can provide him with the exercise and training he needs.
Rascal is, in his fosterer's words, "full of beans"! He has not yet realised his tail is attached to him and nips it - turns round and wonders who hurt his tail!!
Rascal is beginning his vaccinations and as with all our puppies it is a requirement of adoption he will be neutered at 6 months at your expense. A voucher will be given at the time of adoption for a refund of £40 when he is neutered.
Rascal can live with children, dogs and cats. We re home across the UK. If you're interested in adopting Rascal, please read our adoption guidelines and procedure;

Here's sweet little Rascal exploring his fosterer's garden.
Can anyone offer this boy the home he so needs and deserves?

Here is an update from his fosterer: Rascal continues to be a fun little boy. He plays very well with my resident dogs and they are teaching him some doggy manners. Rascal will sit for a treat 100% of the time now and his toilet training is coming along well. He sleeps in his bed next to mine and can climb up onto my bed (although it takes him half an hour and 50 attempts!) - he loves his morning cuddles. What better way to wake up having puppy breath in my face!!! He is adorable, an all round good puppy. He does has a thing for shoelaces but will happily give these up for a nice treat. I am currently trying to crate train him but instead of him going in there, my other dogs all squeeze in there! Rascal is going to make a wonderful pet to any home that can commit the time to him for lots of consistent training and good regular exercise.

Here's another update from his fosterer:
Well my Christmas tree is up - and Rascal is fascinated by it. He has tried to grab the tinsel and run several times today but he hasn't toppled it over..........yet! He is reacting much quicker to the word no but does go totally deaf if its just too much for him to resist... typical puppy.
He also loves the washing machine - he likes watching it go round and round.
I cannot stress enough how very sociable Rascal is. He is so pleased to see everyone, humans and dogs alike. He greets my little girl in the mornings as if he hasn't seen her for days, licks her face, licks her ears... and then tries to steal her slippers!!!! If he is still with me after his second vaccination, we will be going to puppy classes to socialise him with other dogs and help to teach him the basics. This is something that will need to be started or continued in his new home. He really is a bundle of fun - but just watch your shoelaces........he loves them!
