Playful Pip (Oldies Club)
Sadly due to an inoperable mass Titch has sadly had to pts. Pip is still looking for her forever home
These two best friends are Titch & Pip, Labrador crosses who are in an Oldies Club foster home in Newcastle. Pip is about 7 and Titch is about 11.
These two lovely girls have settled really well in their foster home and are happy playing around with each other, a game of fetch being their favourite thing. They are looking for a loving family home as they do love children and a place where there is room for Pip to release her boundless energy and for Titch to have a little space to herself when she wants to relax, would be ideal.
A home with children over about 9 would probably be best as Pip could be a little boisterous with very young ones. They are both sociable with other dogs and have not really taken much notice of cats when out walking.
Both Titch and Pip are fine in the car, although Titch does need a little help getting in and out. They love walks and both are good off the lead with good recall. Pip is so excited to be out that she does pull on the lead but her foster carers are working on this. Both dogs are happy to be left for up to 4 hours with no problem at all.
Health wise, Titch is getting on in years and has a heart murmur which she is on medication for. She is a little stiff like lots of Oldies and finds stairs a bit tiresome.
This is what their foster carer has to say about them:-
“The are both really sweet dogs and I wish we were in a position to give them a permanent home. If we were, I would not hesitate to adopt them permanently. When they are adopted we will miss them so much as they are both great little characters.”
Praise indeed - that sums up Titch and Pip perfectly.
Since coming into Oldies Club care, the girls have been vet checked and they are both neutered, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated.

If you can give these gorgeous girls the home they need, then please refer to our Adoption Procedures for information about the adoption process. You can then contact an Oldies Club rehoming co-ordinator as follows:

Titch and Pip can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet them.[/quote]

Re: Playful Pip (Oldies Club)
After some discussion with their foster carers we would consider rehoming Titch and Pip separately to the right homes.
Although they get on well together they have very different needs - Pip is only 7 and is still quite lively and playful and loves a good walk, while Titch at 11 is much slower and likes a quiet life and a slow potter around.
They are both just as happy to interact with the other dog in their foster home as with each other, so we feel would settle fine with another friendly dog for company - though of course a home for the pair of them would be wonderful!
They are both lovely natured girls, their foster carers haven't a bad word to say about them!

Re: Playful Pip (Oldies Club)
Titch has been really unwell and her fosterers took her to the vets. She was fully examined and unfortunately they found a massive lump in her stomach that the vets deemed inoperable. Sadly the decision was made to have Titch pts so she was no longer suffering. Sleep tight Titch
Pip is doing ok under the circumstances and still up for rehoming.
