Lass ~ Quiet Little Girl - 2yo Black Greyhound

LASS

Lass is a 2 year old greyhound girl who did not qualify for racing. She is a tall but slender girl with a black coat that is a bit lack lustre at the moment, but this will improve lots of good food and TLC.

Lass is a quiet little girl who finds kennel life a bit stressful. We would like to find her a home soon so that she can start to relax and let her true personality come out. In kennels she is friendly with people she knows but can be a bit shy and unsure of newcomers. Lass will come on beautifully though with the right owners and perhaps another doggie friend or two to help build her confidence.



Lass is good with our other greyhounds in the kennels and hasn’t caused any trouble in kennels. She has not been tested with cats but this can be carried out prior to adoption if required.

Little Lass has not yet been in a home environment, so new owners will need to be a bit understanding during the first couple of weeks and allow her time to settle and get accustomed to the changes. It usually takes 10-14 days for new greyhounds to start to settle down in a home, and really all they need is a bit of time and patience.


**UPDATE 08/2010**

Lass has now moved across to the UK where she is waiting for her forever home. She is a very sweet little girl who has come out of her shell a bit since she first came in to us. She is a joy to walk on the lead and is starting to really enjoy her cuddles. She is on the waiting list for a foster home which is sure to make a huge difference.

Lass is very good with other dogs, both large and small. She greets them politely and we think she would do very well with another dog for company in her new home.



This little girl is currently being kennelled in Norfolk, UK. She is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flea'd and wormed and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 70 greyhounds at any one time, in Ireland and the UK.

Each dog is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA.
