Spring ~ 2yo Gentle Little Greyhound

SPRING

Spring is a 2 year old greyhound girl who was not fast enough for the race track. She has a velvet soft black coat that is a bit thick and woolly at the moment, but with some good food it won’t be long before she's a sleek, shiny black beauty.

Spring is a new girl to the kennels and is still adjusting to the new routine. She is settling in fast, however, and her little personality is really starting to shine now. Spring is a friendly girl who, though a bit timid and delicate upon first meeting you, soon comes right out of her shell and shows her true friendly, playful personality. This girl is sure to blossom into a beautiful little girl once she is in the loving care of a home environment.




**UPDATE 07/2010**

Spring is now in a foster home in Ireland where she is doing very well. Gone is the slightly timid, unsure little girl from when she first came to us. Now Spring is a lively, very friendly girl who adores her cuddles and isn’t afraid to ask for them! She loves to play and has adjusted to the home environment quickly and easily.

Spring is very good with other dogs, large and small, and is currently living with several other greyhounds, a small terrier and a pointer. She enjoys playing and romping with the other dogs and is quite an energetic little lady. She is not cat friendly. This little lady is ready and waiting for her forever home, and will make a fantastic addition to just about any home.



Spring is currently in foster are in Ireland, though will be travelling to the UK soon to wait for her forever home there. She is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flea'd and wormed and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 70 greyhounds at any one time, in both Ireland and the UK.

Each dog is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA. We work hard to match the right hound to the right home, and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
