Other: Jessie has been looking for a new home for some time now..She has been Kennelled for 3 weeks, but I have now taken her into our mad house to hopefully give her a break and to keep her temperament/obedience up.
She is a bit fearful of other dogs on face to face meetings and would be best as an only dog...We are managing her well here as we have the space and experience of fearful dogs...
Jessie is quiet and obedient and a real pleasure to spend time with, this is the main reason we have her with us...she would do very well in a household without young children, older teens who would love to throw ball with her and a dedicated family who would help her with her socialisation fear with other dogs...She is brilliant on a lead and responsive to commands, sit, paw, stay, wait etc....
It is about time this girl was settled in her forever home...an absolute sweetie of a dog...

Re: Jessie Boxer Cross Springer
Jessie has had her first 10 min session face to face with my boxer lad....she was absolutely fine...
clarkson is not an in yer face type of dog anyway and don't like it himself when other dogs do it to him.
Jessie was soft muzzelled for this, just to be on the safe side and intros and sniffings aside, they settled into seeing what I was up to rather than each other....
Jess would still be best placed as an only dog or with someone willing like me to give all they can and take as much time as possible to make this girlie feel part of a whole again...

Re: Jessie Boxer Cross Springer
bumping her up cos she is such a sweetie and a perfect doggy in the home...doing well outside, took her into town and was great walking past all the other doggies on a lead...Sat in shop and said hello to the girls...
Was not too keen (backed into my legs) when a child of 2 came running up to pet her to the shouts of her mummy NOOOO! always ask before petting doggies....
We said that Jess is under assessment and would prefer it if the child were just to look from afar at Jess as we made her give paw, sit and laydown on command...
All a great day really...Jess also had time in with the whole pack (muzzelled) all she wants to do is play, if it is a bit rough...My lot would not oblige so I had to do the chuck the chicken bit in the garden...such a hard life...NOT!

muzzel off and with Clarkson only...took a month to win her round and kept her quiet and dogs just got along fine....keeping it short times and never with food about...toys was a bit chancey, but they both keep to their own.... shoe could be housed with another laid back dog..she is also the kind to be the dominant one..but we are the leaders in our house..we think!!!
