5 year old Bonnie has apparently spent most of her life in kennels, therefore she is finding the noises within the home a bit scary. She is in foster, and is learning to relax.
Bonnie is very friendly when she gets to know you. We will not rehome her where there are children under 13, or where there are children visiting, because Bonnie is frightened of children. Ideally she needs a quiet home where there are not too many visitors.
Bonnie gets on well with other dogs, does not bother the chickens , and tries to mother the cat! (The cat doesn’t necessarily like this!!!)
She is on a diet, her weight gain probably due to lack of exercise.

Re: BONNIE 5yo Bullmastiff with LBDR
Bonnie has gone into one of our foster homes, this is what her foster mum says:
Bonnie is doing really well and we are trying hard to try and get her weight down as she is really enjoying her walks now.
She would make a wonderful companion to someone, she is now very confident, and tries to be the first to greet everyone that comes in the house!
She has a lovely nature and is very affectionate.
She has adapted great to being in the house and is now much more relaxed around the washing machine, hoover and lawn mower!
She is great with other dogs and has shown no aggression whatsoever.

I love this girl, when she came in I took one look at her face & I just melted
Re: BONNIE 5yo Bullmastiff with LBDR
Our Bonnie has someone very, very interested in her all the checks have been done, but she has a couple of lumps & bumps so I took her to the vets to have her checked out before the adoption went any further.
The vet wasn't concerned about the lumpy bits but did find some other symptoms that need further investigation, so our Bons went into the vets yesterday to have tests for an overactive thyroid & cushings, we now have to wait about a week for the results.
The best bit is that the people still want to adopt Bons providing they can afford any treatment she may need if any of the tests come back positive. If she has an overactive thyroid then I think it will be perfectly doable but if it's cushings it may well be too expensive for them.
Please keep everything crossed for our girl as this really is her perfect home

Bonnie has an under active thyroid & will need treatment for life, but hopefully this will give her a new lease of life
