Other Information

Please meet the gorgeous 1 year old Yorkshire Terrier girl Kez. Little Kez came to us back
in November from a pound in the Midlands where she was at risk of put to sleep due to
showing aggression. We agreed to take her and work with her but when she arrived she
starting coughing and we were in a real predicament as all our available foster homes
had dogs that would be vulnerable if they caught kennel cough. With that in mind she
has stayed with our founder Eileen on long term foster.

Kez has been with us in foster for all this time and is now 100% fit and healthy. Her
fosterer has been working on her issues which are based around fear. When she came
into foster she was very aggressive towards other dogs, but as you can see with a little
time and careful introduction she is doing very well and actually enjoys the company of
other dogs.

She is very attached to her fosterer and will need an understanding home to give her time
to adjust to any other changes in her life. We believe she could live with another dog,
but would need careful introductions.

Because she is fearful, we would not home her to a home with children or visiting children
and she would really like a quiet calm environment with someone around most of the
time. She would also not be suitable to live with cats

Kez is a special girl who is looking for a kind, loving home to keep her safe and spend time
continuing working on the issues she has. She may always lack in confidence in new
situations and around strange dogs but she continues to improve all the time.

Being in her current foster home she has encountered lots of different dogs of all shapes
and sizes and she does learn to accept them but she hates change so could do with a
consistent life style. She has never bitten her foster mum who always lets her know if
she needs to be picked up but she is a naughty girl in the vets and on those occasions

she is muzzled.

The rewards you would gain would be the love and unwavering affection of this little fluff
ball who in her short life must have experienced some major traumas to make her so
afraid. She is though a delightful, funny little dog who loves to stand at the top of the
garden and tell the birds off.

Kez is chipped, vaccinated and neutered, she is currently in foster in South Wales and any
potential home will need to visit her there.

Kez was attacked! She put up a brave fight, and overcame her attacker. Despite emergency treatment, the cushion and the stuffing did not survive. RIP little cushion xx

Kez decided that she wanted to help clean up. The kitchen roll did not survive.

Kez really is a full on little Terrier she loves to play and destroy things, so is having a dig box every day, she's very nervous on walks and reacts by barking, she has most definitely been taught to play using human hands, so been working on that, she is very frightened of men so will find a nice man to help me this that She is a sweetie but does need someone who knows terriers and loves there crazy destructive ways.

The ripped paper is from the dig box, she hasn't been given paper to rip.

Kez is learning some doggie manners very quickly, she is a sweet little girl who will require someone who has time on there hands to educate her that cars aren't for chasing and birds aren't for barking at, it will take time but she will learn, little Kez does have guarding issues which her temporary fosterer has been working really hard on for the last few days but today she did snap at a little yorkie on the leg ( very amusing over a pink pig) Her fosterer is sure it was just a blip, as everyone must want a pink pig!!
