Cody - Handsome 3 year old Bichon Frise - Small dog friendly and loves agility

Meet Cody! A handsome 3 year old Bichon Frise looking for a loving home where he can get the attention and exercise that he needs.

Cody came into us from a home situation where the owners felt they could no longer care for him. He is a very sweet boy who loves to snuggle up with you on the sofa and have a good cuddle! Cody needs a home where someone is around most of the day.


He is a bit "naked" at the moment but his fur is growing back well and will require regular grooming. Cody was very good at the groomers although did have a little grumble at the end when his nails were clipped.

Cody would love to go to training classes and/or an activity to help to continue to develop his basic training and improve his concentration. He has recently started agility classes and is doing brilliantly and enjoying them immensely so this, or something similar, would be wonderful to continue in his forever home. Cody is still learning his manners around other dogs, with continued training in his forever home he could live with other dogs, however, a home as an only dog or with a small female would be ideal. He wouldn’t like to live with children.

The lovely kennel dog walkers say that he is easy to walk and a pleasure to be with. He is very sweet and loves to play – he’ll make a wonderful companion.


Cody is currently in a foster home in South Wales whilst he waits for a forever home but we re-home across the UK.

Cody has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.

Can anyone offer Cody a forever home?

Cody is going to make a fantastic pet to any home that can commit the time and training to him to help show him that being left alone isn't scary like he currently thinks.


He is such a beautiful boy and as you can see, he is starting to look like a Bichon again

Fosterer update 30/08/12 :

Cody is with me and has been here for about a month now. He needs a home where someone can work with him to give him confidence to be left. He gets left here when I go to work and has other dogs for company so he is fine. He does go bonkers when I come home and is always so happy to see me.
I have also worked on routines... He used to get upset when I put my coat or shoes on or picked up my handbag. I have spent time doing those things and not going out and now he takes very little notice.

He is such a loving little dog but people often think Bichons are just bundles of fluff and don't always understand they can be needy little dogs. He is a darling dog and will make a wonderfully friendly and loyal pet to any active home that can commit to carrying on the training he is currently receiving. Can anyone offer Cody a forever home?
