patch - 4 year old special crossbreed

Please meet gorgeous patch! Patch is a 4 year old crossbreed who was given into rescue after he broke his leg running over a rabbit hole and had to have the leg amputated. Patch was then dumped at a rescue centre by his owners with a note to say they did not want a three legged dog...
Patch spent 8 months at a rescue centre where staff say people would ooh and ahh over him until they spotted he had three legs then would carry on walking past him, going on to choose other dogs.

Patch was then adopted by a lovely lady who sadly is very ill in hospital, and she is devastated she cannot keep him and his best friend Vincent (Also looking for a home) He is house-trained and has great recall off lead.
Patch is used to visiting children and can be homed with children aged 6 and over and he has lived with cats. He has always lived with other dogs and must be rehomed where there is already a resident dog or in the best case scenario...with Vincent the whippet cross.
Please please don't overlook patch just because he has 3 legs. He is a loving, gentle and so desperate to have someone to love...whoever adopts this gorgeous bundle of love will be very lucky indeed.
