Perfect Penny - Lovely 9 year old Collie cross

Penny is a beautiful 9 year old Collie cross girl who has come to us to find a new home after a change in her families circumstances. They are truly heartbroken at having to part with her, having had her since they rescued her as a young girl.

Penny is a lovely family dog who has lived with children, cats and small furries, she has welcomed other dogs as fosters into her home and been a guiding light for them.

Penny loves her walks and is very good off lead plus she travels well in the car.
Penny is a sweet gentle girl who just loves to be part of the family, whether it be at home, out and about on walks or even caravaning at the coast!
I can't fault this lovely girl at all, Penny will fit into any family and make a wonderful companion to children and adults alike.

Penny has been spayed, micro chipped and vaccinated. She is currently on foster in Cornwall but we home across the UK.

Here's an update from her fosterer:
Penny is roughly 18" to the shoulder, up to my knee and I am just over 5 ft. She is quite small and lightweight but has lots of back fur which makes her look bigger!

She is no trouble at all but you must realise she is terrier cross collie so has a fair bit of energy when playing (which she loves to do)!
She is the perfect dog for retrieving a toy as she always brings it back, but will not let any other dogs take it off her.

Penny does pull a bit on the lead so is now in a harness but this is excitement at going out and is manageable.

She is the perfect housedog and loves to curl up on the sofa with you, she has settled very well considering this is only her third day with us.

She does bark at visitors but then wants a cuddle, very obedient!

She's very interested in the ducks at the pond, not sure if she wanted to play or have them for breakfast.

Can anyone offer this sweet girl a forever home?

Penny had a wonderful walk today and went off lead... Her fosterer says that she has never fosterered, owned or met a dog with such fantastic recall until Penny! What a star she is.

They went for a one to one walk in the woods at lunchtime to assess her recall without the other dogs and she is amazing after only 4 days with her fosterer. To Penny they are strangers but she is so trusting and loyal.

She carried the ball all the way home and didn't pull, so her fosterer is going to see if that works on the way out from the house too. Penny has to be onlead around traffic but is much happier offlead!

Penny is a real darling - can anyone offer her a forever home?
