Name: George
Age: 2 years old
Breed: Jack Russell
Can I live with Children: Older
Can I live with cats: No
Can I live with other dogs: Yes
Fostered In: South Wales
Other Information
George came in from a relationship split. He is a loving little lad he knows his name, sit down and wait he is very playful and so gentle, he is super fit
He is fun, frisky and needs an active family environment to keep him stimulated. He is good with other dogs, not tested with cats but due to the breed would not recommend. We would also suggest older children as he is very excitable.
He travels well and walks really well on the lead, he wants to be everyone’s best friends and even when told off by other dogs he just backed of straight away and walked the other way.
He had no problem eating his dinner and. he allowed me to pick his bowl up, He would be pleasant company to anyone as he is so easy going, I really hope George finds his forever home soon as he is lovely.

Re: George, 2 year old, Jack Russell Terrier
Our sweet little George is still waiting for a home. He is a playful chap with very endearing ways about him and has been described as "the perfect gentlemen". Can anyone offer this lovely boy a home to call his own?

Gorgeous George is still looking for that active, loving home where his training can be continued

George is getting along brilliantly in his foster home! He is lapping up all the attention and really enjoying being thoroughly spoilt!
George adores going out on walks but he does pull a bit on the lead.
George listens to every single word his foster mum says but couldn't care less what his foster dad says - he is a ladies man!
He is such a handsome boy and a real sweet heart

Re: George, 2 year old, Jack Russell Terrier
George is coming along brilliantly in his foster home. His fosterer, Tanya, is putting in a lot of work with George and he is getting more confident by the day. He is losing the separation issue - George is now able to stay out the garden for a little while without Tanya and the door can be shut. Also his bed time crying for Tanya has stopped and he is now sleeping in the kitchen with his crate door open.
Tanya has been using the distract technique for the last two weeks to confuse George as she was not able to leave the house without him fussing and fretting and she would return to a bit of a mess but this technique is working wonderfully.
Tanya has been getting up in the morning and doing the normally routine putting George out in the garden, make tea, let George in and off they go to the living room but Tanya now puts on her shoes and coat then watches the tv whilst drinking her tea. At first George would be waiting for her to exit the building - over the next hour she would do a few exits of the room making it look like she was going out (turning the tv off and getting her bag etc.) then would just go and make tea in the kitchen and come back thus confusing George.
Tanya has been using this also when she is going to have a bath as well as other everyday tasks/chores and it is working well. Tanya can now put on her shoes and coat without any fuss from George and can leave the house with George in the living room. She does have to close the blinds so he can't see her out the window but when Tanya returns George is so pleased to see her and Tanya is please to see there is no mess!
They are still working on George wanting to constantly sit on her lap which Tanya is using the ignore technique for.
George is a wonderful and sweet boy who is developing wonderfully in his foster home. He loves to have lots of attention and doesn't like being left but as you've just read, he is improving with time, patience and consistency. George is a happy young boy who will make a wonderful companion or family pet. Can anyone offer George a forever home?
