Maeve ~ 2yr Old CAT FRIENDLY Greyhound Girl (KGC)

MAEVE

Maeve is a 2 year old female greyhound with a lovely soft black tuxedo coat. She was bred for racing but showed absolutely no chase instinct!

Maeve is a shy little girl, quite timid of strangers and new situations but very sweet and affectionate once she knows you. We feel her shyness will greatly improve once she gains some confidence and gets properly socialised. Maeve was terrified of the cat she was tested with, so we feel she will be cat friendly with a little bit of time and training. She will be properly cat tested by living with some felines once a foster home becomes available.

This little sweetheart hasn't yet lived in a home environment and so will require a bit of understanding as she learns house etiquette. She will be neutered, microchipped and vaccinated before going to a new home.

Maeve is currently in kennels in Norfolk, and can be transported to Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This very sweet, sensitive girl will be a rewarding member of the family, who will get to watch her blossom into a beautiful, confident hound.

Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 40 greyhounds at any one time, in Ireland and the UK.

Each dog is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA.
