Maxine - 7 month old cross breed - Sweet pup
Maxine is a gorgeous 7 month old cross breed. She originally came to us from a local home and was re homed by us but unfortunately, through no fault of her own, is looking for a home again.
She is a wonderful girl who is full of energy and still very much a puppy. She needs plenty of exercise and stimulation or she'll let her energy out in a boisterous manner. She likes to chew whatever she can find so plenty of yummy bones and positive, consistent training are in order.
Maxine mixes well with other dogs and children however she does chase cats.
When on walks Maxine can be wary of men however her fosterer is working on this and with positive training she is improving.
Maxine has shown no food or toy aggression what-so-ever and will "leave" on command. She also knows sit, paw, lie down and is currently learning recall.
This sweet girl needs an active, loving home which can provide consistent training with positive methods.
She is currently on foster in South Wales but we home across the UK.
If you're interested in adopting Maxine, please read our adoption guidelines and procedure;

Here is an update from her fosterer:
"This dog will give back more love and loyality than any I have ever met. She has been with me now for just 2 weeks and has quite literally come on leaps and bounds. I will forever miss her when she is homed. She is a real sweetie. She loves to play, eat and sleep. Her recall is now brilliant, she in now rubbing noses with my cat and has met my rabbits. She would complete any family, with or without children"

Beautiful Maxxi is continuing to do well in her foster home! She is the most loving little girl and ever so well behaved with the children and other animals in her foster home - a real star!
Can anyone offer her a home?

FOSTERER UPDATE: She is very bouncy and runs around like a loony which makes us laugh, she is such a character. She loves to go for a run over the fields but walks well on a halti. She sits, gives paw and lie's downs on command, especially for a treat. She plays well with my 4 dogs and is learning to play with toys, which she didn't do before.
She is still waiting for the best Christmas present ever - a new home !!! Could you give her the time, attention and love she needs so much ?

UPDATE: Maxine really needs her forever home, so that she can settle in, while she is still a pupster. She is enjoying playing with the other dogs and toys, which is so funny - We met a Lurcher today over the field and they enjoyed play chase. We were both cover in mud, as the mud was splashing every where, when she was running. She couldn't stop and ended up face first in a muddy puddle! She's a real sweet heart and so much fun.

FOSTERER UPDATE: She is changing and growing sooo quickly! She is becoming even more loving and trusting; I have fallen for her in a big way. She has such a big heart and gives nothing but love and kisses. I am going to miss her when she find her new forever home. She's loyal, loves the children and plays rough and tumble with my 6 yr old son, and when I'm ill she curls up with me on the sofa. She has learnt that toys can be fun to play with on her own and can amuse herself now for a while. She loves to chew on large knuckle bones and makes short work of a pigs ear. She has learnt to sit to have her lead put on and will do almost anything to have treat. We still have a couple of issues that we are working on, but any time spent will be returned in heap loads of kisses. She is only a pup and is quick to learn.

FOSTERER UPDATE: I can't believe Maxi has not been snapped up by someone yet! She is so loving and gorgeous. Her favourite play mate is a 5 month old Chihuahua called Paris. They play for hours and she is so gentle with her, even though she bounds around alot of the time when playing. She is still a little nervous of strange situations which is work in progress. Today we went to the school gates and she let the care taker and children stroker her, without her shaking at all, which is a BIG improvement for her. She is fantastic but really wants a home of her own. Can you offer her one?
