Toffee
Toffee is a 2.5 year old Bullmastiff she is a lovely girl that really enjoys a fuss & being with people, she has in the past lived with children, other dogs, cats & small furies, she has been in kennels for the past 6 months before coming to us, in this time she has not had much interaction with other dogs & although she shows no bad ways walking with them she would need to get to know the dog well before she would be happy with contact during lively play with other dogs, she would suit maybe a very calm dog as a companion or to be the only dog in the home.
Although Toffee has lived with children before we would prefer her to go to a home with children of 10 years old & over, due to her being in kennels for so long she can get very excited when out & bomb about like a lunatic for a short while & in this time a smaller child could get knocked down, this will calm the more she lives in a home but for the childs safety we have put this age restriction on, she would not hurt a child intentionally. She cannot live with chickens or loose birds as she will chase them, she is not worried about horses at all. Toffee knows all the basic commands & responds to them really well, she learns very quickly if she knows there is a treat or a fuss at the end of it. Toffee is clean in the house & in her kennel when she is in there. Toffee is a joy to have around & a truly lovely girl.

Re: Toffee
Hi, has toffee been homed yet? I noticed that you had put an age restriction on children that she'd be homed with, but i have grown up with the big babies and Newfoundlands, and so has my son, so he is more than used to being knocked in his bum lol (he is only 2.5 but he loves big dogs. ) although i never ever leave him alone with any of them. Has toffee lived with kids before? I really think she looks Gorgeous! and would gladly take her in if she is good with kids and other dogs

Re: Toffee
Toffee has this weekend been reserved subject to another meeting with the family, things went well on the first meeting but we like to make sure before we say they can have her, but I think they will be a good home for her
Toffee had lived with children before but I think 2.5 would be a bit young for her as she is as mad as a march hare when off lead, I often think she is going to knock me over
We do have 2 other Bullmastiff girls in that have just had their spays and are at the moment being tested to see what homes they will suit, we have not put them on our website yet but they should go up next week

Re: Toffee
Hi Sharon. awwweee, i fell in love with her too. I'm sure she will be happy in her new home tho!
I would definately be interested in the 2 other mastiffs, but only if they are still young. Up to about 2.5 3 yrs, depending on their personality, and if they've been child tested as i know they can be very protective of kids, can be difficult to even tell a child off in front of a mastiff lol without it getting its opinion in, and trying to make out its boss!
Can you keep me posted about them please.
