Name: Molly
Age: 6 – 7 Months
Breed: Beagle
Can I live with Children: Yes
Can I live with cats: Possibly
Can I live with other dogs:yes
Fostered In: Launceston, Cornwall
Other Information
Molly has come into us from a home situation, where the owners felt they were unable to cope with a young child and dog.
She is now in foster and travelled really well from Wales to Launceston. Brilliant with the children, very directly but is very bouncy when excited. Will mouth a little but if corrected will stop
She as met the cats a bit intrigued but didn’t try to chase. Great with the other dogs remembered her manners and let them sniff her when she arrived at her foster home
Molly is quite strong on the lead mainly due to that nose tempting her off. She seems to be improving over the days but will continue to be work in progress. She has seen sheep, horses, chickens and rabbits whilst out on her walk and didn’t seem to interested
No issues with food happy to be handled and her bowl moved etc, she is a bit greedy and will try to take your food off you, the children or steal from where she can reach. Our fosterer will do some work on this.
This very bright little girl has been taught to sit on her back legs and beg. She knows back, sit, stay and down but would like to go to some training lessons for some more ideas.
She will be looking for an active home that can continue her training and provide her with exercise and structure a young dog of this breed needs.
Molly is neutered, vaccinated and Microchipped.

Gorgeous Molly is doing really well in her foster home but is really ready for that loving, active forever home. Here's an update from her foster mum:
She will sit nicely and wait for her food to be put down and go to the door when she wants to go out to "spend a penny". Molly enjoys three walks a day and can now walk nicely on the lead well 95% of the time (that nose is still finding milloins of lovely smells!). Molly will happily sleep in her crate at night and voluntarily go in it during the day. Little molly is NOT a fan of the cold or rain but who can blame her? She will cry and shiver but is much happier now she has a posh coat to wear. Molly is still playing nicely with the other dogs and is fantastic with the kids although can be a little clumsy. The piggy in her is being restrained she responds well to being told back if we are eating but she is persistent! So far we have kept her on the long lead in the garden and we are working on recall and she is doing well. Molly had a lovely rough and tumble with one of our cats today, this little girl is as soft as a teddy and full of love! Your typical bouncy pup

Beautiful Molly is still looking for a home. Ideally she'd like a home where someone is home most of the day. Can anyone offer her a home for life?
