Well smiley Sion has been with us now for 9 days and i feel able to sum up his personality! He is a proper gentleman - has impeccable manners - no jumping on people or furniture - housetrained and sleeps quietly in the kitchen at night.
He is everyones friend and even strangers are greeted by a lovely wash from Sion! His favourite game is "fetch" and he will drop the ball at your feet every time for you to throw it again and again. Unfortunately due to his age he is very stiff on his back legs and you will need to limit his excercise to short bursts. Sion thinks he is still a puppy!! He is excellent in the car - sits quietly in the passenger foot-well. The only fault i can find with Sion is that he whines around food - i imagine his previous family may have shared their food with him - we are working on this and he is getting better. He came to us from the pound as an unclaimed stray - so we have no history. Sion will make the perfect companion for someone - preferably someone who is home a lot as he does like company. He could be re-homed as an only dog or alongside other dogs and has shown no interest in my cats. Please dont overlook Sion because of his age - he is a lovely sweet old man who would love a forever home for his retirement.
