Other: Beth....Beth came to us through our links with St Giles in Taunton, before the new family took over the kennels she had been there for over a year and never been walked, as far as we know Beth has never seen the outside World. The forst walk she went on her pads split because they couldn't cope. Boo. St Giles began working with her and she became quite the star, guarding the kennels at night with her best pal Pongo the JRT and sleeping all day in her kennel.

Beth has now been moved to kennel foster, where she has time in the family home, time outdoors and time playing with other Corsos. She is EXCEPTIONALLY attentive to her family, for me, perfect Corso temperament. She will allow strangers onto the property with her carers permission and spends time every day with the families 13 year old son. Beth loves to run, for no other reason than she can! She isn't going anywhere, but by golly she's not going anywhere fast! She plays with male Corsos much larger than her and loves it, and is being slowly integrated with the females.

Beth's downside is that she finds the outside world a lot to cope with. She's getting slow, patient and positive exposure on a headcollar, but her reactions can be explosive and quite startling to someone who isn't used to handling a fired up Corso or bull breed.

Beth would really REALLY suit a farmstead or similar where she has a job and another dog to play with, she would be very happy never to have to leave the property again (except for the vets, where she is fine) as she is not a dog to go socialising with. She is happy in her own company if left, and equally happy to integrate with her family and visitors, she just doesn't really like going out. So she's either a project or she needs a home with a lot of room to run.
