***IMPORTANT*** Quote facility not working correctly

The quote facility is not working as it should do Julie/Sal.

The box is not showing and the following text is being pushed to the right.

This seems to be an issue affecting alot of forumotion forums at the moment, hopefully it's just a temporary hiccup and will be resolved soon

I noticed it on the election thread and though it was my laptop! I even posted 'oooo errrr' LOL

Have just checked on my forumotion forum and it's the same. So they sort it.

For the time being on my forum as they have advised on forumotion support I have deactivated and changed the following to No
Allow Quick Reply : Yes No
Display "Quote" button : Yes No
Display "Multi-quote" button : Yes No

Apparently this glitch is only with phpBB3... so some boards are changing over to phpBB2 temporarily. Hmmm not sure about doing that TBH.

Have they given any indication of what they changed to cause this glitch?

Not as far as i'm aware but i haven't read any recent postings yet

Seems from what I've just read on the support forum it's been passed over to the techies to sort.

Change for today is that you have to click reply rather than find a handy reply box already open at the bottom of the page. I first thought I was not logged in, then I thought perhaps the thread was locked, but found the button and it worked No option to quote that way - so I think it's all linked.

Thanks to the forumotion tech guys this problem is now resolved
