Group: 2
Number of animals:2
Type/Breed/Variety: LONG HAIRED GUINEA PIGS
Sex: FEMALE
Age(s): UN SURE BUT AROUND 2 TO 2.6 YEARS
Name(s): TINKER & BELL
Colours: WHITE AND GINGER & AGOUTI AND PEACH
Neutered: NO
Reason for rehoming: ASKED TO TAKE AS DOGS WERE TRYING TO GET AT THEM
Temperament: VERY SWEET GIRLS
Medical problems: BELL THE AGOUI/PEACH DOES HAVE SHIELD, IT HAS BEEN CHECKED BY VETS AND THERE IS NO INFECTION. COULD BE DUE TO INFECTION IN THE PAST OR POOR DIET.
Neutering: We do hope rescues will neuter where possible.
Will the group be split: NO
Transport available: CAN BE ARRANGED
Other: WE WAS ASKED TO COME COLLECT THESE DUE TO THE DOGS TRYING TO GET AT THEM. WHEN WE GOT THERE WE FOUND THEM IN A TINY 18" HUTCH IN PURE DARKNESS. THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE HUTCH BUT A LAYER OF NEWS PAPER, NOT EVEN HAY! AND THEY WERE HUDDLED IN A CORNER 3" DEEP OF URINE SOAKED FEACES.. WE HAD TO BATH AND TRIM THE A BIT. THERE CLAWS WERE SO OVER GROWN ONE WAS GROWING INTO FOOT. DESPITE LIVING LIKE THIS THEY ARE VERY SWEET GIRLS AND SQUEEK WHEN THEY HEAR YOU WITH FEEDING TUBS.. BELL IS A BIT OF A MUCKY MADAM AND WILL CONSTANTLY LAY AND SLEEP IN THE CORNER SHE URINATES AND POOS IN, WHICH IS THE BEDDING AREA, SO THIS NEEDS CLEANING IF POSSIBLE TWICE A DAY WITH WET BEING REMOVED AND FRESH AND DRY PUT IN, IF NOT HER BACK END GETS DAMP AND MESSY. SHE DOESNT LIKE BEING GROOMED EITHER AND WILL PROTEST WITH THE LOUDEST SQUEEKS EVER LOL, BLESS HER. THESE ARE SUCH SWEET GIRLS AND VERY PLAYFUL.
