Not getting pm notifications by email

Hi don't seem to be getting PM notifications by email again

This comes and goes and IMO it's the forumotion stuff at fault and not my PC.

I come on every day to check what's needed but there may be other people we aren't able to find the time to come onto the forum everyday and who maybe aren't getting their pm's.

Kathy, your profile has been set not to receive them, have amended this so should be okay now

Oh ... well I haven't done that I never touch my profile .... well hope it's worked.

I'm not getting any PM notifications - checked my profile and the setting are ok.

Can you pm me your current email address Alicia?

They should add forumotion.com to their safe list.

I don't see why Forumotion should pass the buck on this, as this is what they are doing..... I get email notifications ok, but I no longer get the pop-up window telling me of a PM.

Even when I get email notification and come on to the forum, it says 'You have no new messages' when in fact I do!

To put an email address on to your safe list wholly depends on what type of email account you use for sending and receiving mail. I use Outlook Express so know how to do safe address in that, I have a gmail account so can look that up too. I really need a few people to say what type of email account they are using, I can then look into it more tomorrow.

I've had the same problem happen a couple of times over the last year or so. I get e-mails about PMs fine for ages, then all of a sudden they stop. I've never changed my RAFA settings. I check my spam account every time I log on so they're not going in there. From all the other posts here, it's definitely a supplier problem and not an end-user problem!!

I hope it can be sorted - I try and check in regularly but sometimes it just doesn't happen - the e-mails are so helpful

Is this resolved yet or do people still want to know how to do safe lists?
