Pippa Staffie DOB 2009 Copthorne foster

Post by Rescue Remedies on Sat May 02, 2015 6:18 pm

Pippa needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. Pippa would need a companion home, at most part time working. A quieter home life and walking area as she wouldn't appreciate off lead dogs in her face. Only pet status at this stage. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.

Known background: Pippa was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a council pound. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place and save her life. Pippa is spayed chipped and fully vaccinated. Currently in foster in Copthorne as an only pet.

About Pippa: Pippa is so easy and quiet in the home, likes to be in company and loves access to sofa and would really like to sleep beside your bed or on your bed, you'd hardly notice her! Pippa just is naturally a companion pet! Gentle and welcoming. She has left the leapy 'puppiness' well behind..however out in the garden or on her walks she reverts to letting her fur down and oh how she lives her sticks, balls and to run. Pippa is focused on her people and her toys, she is quite insular with dogs. Travels very well ideally on backseat or front seat secured 'watcher of the world' as it goes by.

Pippa is probably between 5-7 years old, she is small in stature, slender in frame, with a taupe brindle coat with a hint of peach, white badger strip, neck and socks. Pippa is very concerned in kennels and our volunteers have gone out of their way, out of love for Pippa to keep her out of kennels. To find her family and new home would please so many Pippa fans! Pippa would be very very happy too.

***PLEASE HELP: We have to ask for £175 donation at the time of adoption, as we can't support so many dogs without funds. We have no state sponsorship and exist on the goodwill of the public and our supporters. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life.
