Difficulty sending pm's

This morning I've been having difficulty getting onto the board and my pm wasn't sent .... web page available?

I'm not having problems getting on to other forums.

Just wondered if you were aware of it?

Kathy, there were problems on the forum yesterday, today there are problems, i'm sure forumotion will be aware of this.

Hopefully this will be resolved speedily

sometimes when i come on its sending me to a page that says they are doing matinence this has happened on and off for 3 days !

Forumotion are replacing and upgrading some of their servers resulting in sporadic downtime. Hopefully it won't last too long

was panicking a bit thursday as could not get on at all till the eve will be sorted soon they have to do this kind of thing sometimes

Thanks Ross ..... yes I always think it's my computer rather than anything else ...and I can't bear computers that won't work

Judging by how many forums are hosted by Forumotion there must be a massive amount of data to transfer so things might take a while to settle down. Some forums seem to be affected more than others with some finding that pm's are going to the wrong members, so if you are sending pm's check your outbox after clicking the send button to check that the recipient name hasn't changed.
