Lillie - Collie X (Bucks)

Lillie is a 12 year old Collie x Whippet x Jack Russell girl who originally came into Oldies Club care in 2009. At that time, her name was Tillie. She quickly found a home, but her owners’ circumstances have changed and this sadly means that Lillie needs to find a home once again. Lillie is with her current owners in Whitchurch in Buckinghamshire but will hopefully be moving to a foster home shortly and we will update her location then. This isn’t a private rehoming – Lillie is being rehomed by the Oldies Club dog rescue.

Lillie would like a family home with people who can spend plenty of time walking her and generally spending time with her and keeping her mind active. She’s an alert, intelligent girl who likes to live life to the full but also loves to cuddle up and be loved. She would be happy as an only dog or with a lively dog for company.

Settled quickly; Fine to be left: Lillie is quite a sensitive girl but she settled at her current home within a couple of weeks and she is fine to be left for a few hours. She tends to bond with women but is wary of men initially and takes time to trust them.



Good with dogs; Possibly cats: Lillie lives with another dog and is generally fine with dogs she meets, but she will sometimes bark at them when she is with her female owner. If she goes to a home with another dog, it would be best if the other dog has a similar energy level to Lillie. At her original foster home, Lillie was good with cats she met at the vet so there is the potential for her to live with cats if introduced carefully.



Great with children of all ages: Lillie is excellent with children of all ages and is currently living with a newborn baby.

Good on walks and loves the car: Lillie is good on the lead and doesn’t pull. At her current home her recall is good for her male owner but not for her female owner. Lillie loves travelling in the car.

Lillie’s likes: Lillie loves walks and hugs.



Lillie’s dislikes: Lillie can be nervous around men but she’s not aggressive.

Lillie’s perfect home: Lillie must have a very secure garden as she is an escape artist. She can be a bit timid of new people and situations so her new family will need to be gentle with her and give her time to settle. She would love a home where she will get plenty of love and attention, fun walks, playtime and cuddles on the sofa.

Health notes: Lillie is neutered, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. She will be vaccinated prior to rehoming. Lillie is in very good health for her age and isn’t on any medication.

Lillie’s current owner sums her up: Lillie is a curious, alert and energetic girl who loves cuddles.
