Requirement: Alfie needs a family who understands terriers and have a quieter dog centeredlifestyle, not highly social as he doesn't cope with visitors very well unless they are 'doggie' sensitive. Alfie needs a family without live-in children. Can be left. Is fine with dog after he settles will have a few incidents as terriers do. On the whole dog friendly. Can suffer skin itching with grass pollen. Not for cats or small furries.
His Story: Alfie lived with dogs but due to change of circumstances went into rescue and were homed with a couple who adored him. When they were expecting a baby they knew this would not be viable for Alfie. Alfie was homed as an only dog in London and family didn't feel confident enough to manage Alfies working terrier traits and had lots of visitors. Alfie was fostered with 3 other terriers in Herts but really he is best suited as an only dog. Now in bording kennels. Alfie is neutered, vax'd and chipped.
Advert: Alfie has been loved all his life, and a treasured pet indeed He is a terrier to his paws tips. Alfie has has a bronze training award. He is a good teacher to the ways of the Fell terrier! Alfie copes with being left, an active lifestyle and enjoys his toys. Alfie is an adorable lad who approaches life with bravado. Yes, Alfie is a 'working type' terrier who has instincts.
Alfie needs a confidence of a terrier owner. He could love to live with another dog(s) but would enjoy being an only dog too. Needs a child free living environment as many terriers prefer. Supervision and management around non-doggie visitors. Alfie is typical of his breed, comes trained and socialised. What a GEM and a fun dog!
