Foster home for Quinn, Jack Russell, DOB 2005

Post by Rescue Remedies Rep on Sat 27 Aug 2011 - 10:24

Quinn is in need of a foster home!

What help do you need? Fostering
Contact/organisation details: Rescue Remedies
Permission: Do you have the rescues permission to post this template? yes
Location: see below
Rescue back-up: yesa

Number of animals: 1
Type/Breed/Variety: Jack Russell Terrier
Sex: male
DOB: 2005
Name(s): Quinn
Colours: see picture
Neutered: yes
Fully assesst: yes

Requirements: Quinn needs a caring home where his needs are central to his family. Exit management is vital for Quinn as he is keen to go walkabouts and scoots out of an open door. Secure garden will also be a must. Stairs shouldn't be a feature, once or twice a day but not continual up and down. He has a long back (slightly Dachshund feel) and could damage it with too frequent use. Quinn may live with another dog or as an only dog.

Video: Quinn on his walk

Quinn is a gentle sensitive Jack Russell. He is very alert and aware of all that is happening around him within Rescue, which is a little scary. He loves company and has no edge to his character. Quinn isn't sparkie or barkie. He is very easy to handle and responsive to voice, less so when out on his walk! Quinn travels well in a crate in a car or on the front seat; the only concerns were upon leaving him when we parked, but he soon settled. Quinn has a slightly aloof feel but at the same time soaks up strokes and affection and moves forwards to bequest comfort.

Quinn is a dear Jack Russell. Black and white with a touch of brown on his face, so officially making him a "tricolour". A tiny tot with his little Queen Anne legs with a tiny stump of a 'non tail'. He meets other dogs well and welcomes visitors of the human variety into his kennel with enlivened enthusiasm. Quinn will soon fly out the door … who can resist him?

Please visit Quinn JRT DOB 05 Gatwick (N) on Our Forum to find out more about him and follow his progress.

If you are considering to foster of one of our lovely dogs then please read the section here and complete our fostering form if you meet our criteria
http://rescueremedies.myfastforum.org/about1325.html and email it to lynne@rescueremedies.co.uk

We ask that our fosterers live within 1 - 1/2 hours of the Gatwick, Richmond & Farnham areas as this means they are in reach of our vets should the dog require treatments, spay/neutering & vaccinating.
