Bex -NRBR
Contact/organisation details: NR Boxer Resscue nrboxerrescue@ntlworld.com
Location: Yorkshire
Type/Breed/Variety: Boxer cross
Sex: Female
Age(s): Approx 3 yrs old
Name(s): Bex
Colours: Brindle
Bex had been left tied up and abandoned!
Having a dip
ill be first back to foster dad
Bex has settled in really fast, i do feel that she has been without a home for just a short period. She knows all basic commands, gives paw, quite good on lead, recall. Its a shame as she is lovely, good natured abit timid when she first meets you, but a couple of cuddles later and she is fine. Not food aggressive and certainly ok with other dogs! **lol**
She looks at you with her big eyes and you cant resist giving her another cuddle. <
Another day with the gorgeous Bex and what a pleasure she is to have around. She has proven to be house trained and so quiet you have to keep checking that she is still there!!
We went on a long walk today, all the way Bex was off lead in the fields with my other three. We met loads of dogs as all the owners were out enjoying the beautiful weather. Bex took it all in her stride. Some women we met commented how good she was and when I explained her story they were shocked, they could not believe anyone could do it and how well Bex has adapted to all the recent upheaval.
She has the sadest eyes that tell her story even though she tries hard to hide it. She is full of excitement when we come home and has proved content to be left home alone for a few hours.
She is starting to show her character now, even Molly the grumpy JRT has been enjoying playtime with Bex in the front room
Bex is totally out of her shell now and is just like one of the family! 'Wave''
I took her for a walk by the main road on her own today. She was great, walked lovely on the lead, met our next door neighbours with their children and little dog, and she was great though out while i had a chat. ''Happy,< She let the kids pet her while their dog was jumping up at her. She is a little darling! *yay*
While in the fields she doesnt wander very far from you and when called (albeit about the third time you call her>/ ) she comes back no problem.
She plays with our lot, and loves chasing the ball.....not so good at giving it up, so its a good job we take a few!
She has been great in the house, still clean, no chewing and is not stressed when left. She loves don more than me <,Dunnoa// the pics will show you!
**love**
